Honestly, that's why I take Shen bot lane. I'm not too good 1 v 1 since that means I have to be able to get ahead of them damage wise quickly (and Shen prefers drawn out fights, so if the enemy can burst you down, it's bad). By being support, I don't have to worry about being a damage dealer or playing passive. I just need to taunt and have my carry deal all damage for me. Taunts are OP

I didn't say bot lane is full of burst.

When I said burst, i'm referring to damage from other enemies in top lane. I go support because his taunts allow for initiations and forcing fights against the enemy marksman (who I get to focus early since we're in the same lane)

Melee really is a broad term.

Fighters and Tanks may be struggling (with a few note-worthy exceptions) but there's a lot more to melee than just that.

I still don't understand removing sota because it was general. I mean it made certain champs easier to pick up in case you werent good enough for glass cannon and it allowed you to customize your play style more.
