People complaining about support item Diversity

Serious note: perhaps the lack of item diversity is true for other support champions but I believe the reason why I'm able to go off with AP focused builds is because of how Janna works.

In lane I COULD play aggressive but I play passive and just wait for my teammates to get gold. If the enemy tries to take advantage of my passive playstyle Janna has tools to easily negate engages and shield poke. If my adc wants to play aggressive that's fine too, all I do is shield them and watch them hopefully pop off. I enable my team to fight for longer durations with my shields/heals/preventing engages and I rack off $$ from assists.

Janna has great ratios, often times shield gets to 800 damage and 90~ad and I heal for 1500 health AoE and feel like moses. When my team goes from near death to full health.

Main point is that you don't always need to build all them support items.
