Since a lot of people seem to not understand Jhin's role, I made this easy guide

This should clear it up.

You could put pretty much any ADC except maybe Urgot there, to be fair.

Also...

When yous ee his ultimate pop up don't just stop to enjoy the show (even if it's a good one) because Jhin is all about executing and kills ecuring, if his team doesn't help him to put down dem HP bars all you'll see is ppl running in circles.

All he needs is a CC ready for when Rengar Zed Talon Akali Fizz Ekko will jump on him

Tbh, jhin is best in a team that looks something like this: Shen Nautilus Lux Jhin Janna

The long ranged CC of Naut allows for easy ult hits, Janna, Lux, and Shen can all peel well, there's guaranteed follow-up to his ult in Lux ult, and you'd got bonus AD/AS from Janna for multiplicative scalings. You have REALLY good catch potential here- a Jhin snare can easily be followed up with a Lux combo for a free kill. This threat plus decent waveclear all around, shields, and decent range makes the team OK at sieging (although not perfect) and awesome at counter-sieging. Biggest weaknesses are a not great early game, pretty low AoE damage for teamfights, and no great way to deal with a strong splitpusher.

You could of course substitute Fiora for shen, giving less peel but a better early game and more split push pressure, but this transforms from primarily a pick/siege/teamfight comp to primarily a splitpush comp. Does give you more damage though, which the first team might be a little short on (esp if behind)
