I've never seen a good Kayle support.
The only person I've ever seen play Kayle support is me, and I'm not very good.
I play Kayle Support sometimes. It's... a mixed bag? She doesn't have any hard CC, and her lane pressure falls off hard unless both she and her carry get REALLY fed. On the other hand, she hits like a freight train early game (Q->E->autoattack is really painful, especially since her E procs Spellthief's Edge twice on one target), her W is a pretty damn good soft engage/escape tool, and she's a walking counter to pretty much all assassins after level six.
In this meta, that's not as useful, but there's nothing quite as hilarious as one of the new juggernauts getting kited to death by a carry that has 50% movement speed.
