Most likely about the time people decide burst is 'cancer' or 'toxic' again, and then point out Brands melting entire teams "practically solo" on a support income. This will likely accompany the resident top laner melee only crew to work on rolling the boards over to talk about ranged top laners yet again as if top lane was land bequeathed to the melee. And you know exactly what top laners I'm talking about.

So I give it a couple weeks, basically.

Well, Ranged top is actually fine, especially for people like Darius. Quinn is the problem, with a blind and a knock back that isn't even on a high cooldown. There's a reason why everyone hates Quinn top and not Vayne or etc.

It was mostly a joke. Darius auto-wins lane against most melee champions, so of course a Darius player would hate ranged champions that he can't bully quite as hard as he does melees.

Quinn is rather okay at this point after her nerfs, she's an oppressive laner who does jack-all during the lategame.

Darius auto-wins against tanks, everyone else is a skill matchup or losing. ranged tops besides Jayce are a skill matchup

Well yeah, you could say that for anything that requires precise timing. My point is, you have to push e while she's jumping in on you, since you can't e on her way back out because of the annoying knockback on her e. You pretty much have to push E before she does.

Yeah, but we wanted that notion gone ages ago, so that kits could change and evolve differently, but to no avail.

This isn't true at all, the bruiser circlejerks doesn't just complain about ranged laners, they also complain about adcs, and mages, and peeling supports, and tank supports, and tank top laners, and tank junglers, and early game junglers...well and junglers in general, and ranged top laners. Basically everything which isn't a bruiser or an assassin(as they don't assassinate bruisers).

I'm not even kidding, they basically roll some sort of a dice(which is somewhat affected by the meta) and complain about pretty much anything which isn't a bruiser or assassin.

I don't know about that, it could be just doing well in top lane.

They generally don't, but if they do well top(ekko for example) then they're fair game. It's really one of the more senseless circlejerks.

Doesn't matter. You're reinforcing the very same notion by posting a "joke" about it. It's not really a funny joke when there's an obvious implicit meaning behind it which presupposes the above notion. As I said, feel free to jump the bandwagon, I'm just not a fan of it and I'm free to post my opinion.
