I'm pretty sure it's Sailor Moon, or at Least SG Lux/Jinx/Lulu were based off Sailor Moon. The other two might not be. Lux even says "In the name of Demacia, I will punish you!" similar to Sailor Moon saying "In the name of the Moon, I will punish you!" I've never watched Madoka but I'm 100% sure it's based off Sailor Moon, or just magical girls in general(with Sailor Moon being the beginning of it)
Cyraken1 voteswell 1st off you should totally watch Madoka, it's an amazingly creepy take on magical girl anime. 2nd yea there are a few things that are variations I mean, they can't just 100% rip off anything, but everything from personality & color matching to their familiars to the hints at a dark ending for the girls, just so much is straight from madoka. The familiars are just like Kyubey Lux = Madoka - pink, short pigtails, relentlessly optimistic, ranged fighter Janna = Homura - purple, long hair, experienced, mysterious and tired Poppy = Sayaka - blue, takes things too serious, melee fighter Jinx = Kyoko - red, brash, excitable, uses her powers for herself Lulu is a bit different, her counterpart should be Mami in the anime but like I said there has to be some variation. The only other BIG variation is that in the anime Madoka ends up the most powerful (though doesn't start that way) and in the skin 'lore' Jinx is said to be the most powerful. So like, 30% general magical girl, 70% Madoka magical girl

Lux also looks like a more aged Chibi-moon. Serena's daughter from Sailor Moon, the outfits also are the same exact outfits(including the tiara), the familiars honestly look like a lot of familiars in even non magical girl anime(Mokona for Lulu anyone?). Anyways I haven't watched Madoka but I'd say this skin line is probably a lot like Platinum the Trinity in Blazblue, just a collection of various magical girl things added together, though I feel a strong resemblance to Sailor Moon just because of the phrases used and the outfits(and how Lux looks like Chibi-moon)

They've said the Dark Stars are not related to Star Guardians or Super Galaxy. The Dark Stars are eldritch space horrors, such as the Cthullu-type gods from space as seen in movies like Event Horizon, Prince of Darkness, and The Thing or shows like Extant; they're unknown horrific space terrors. They are not anime style villains. Queen Beryl is not on the same breath or wavelength as Cthullu. They are completely different evils.
