I'll start. When I was but a wee lad in middle school, I had a passion for writing. I started writing a novel about a commander named Amaranth (I sucked at naming back then) and he was cool and basically as anime as a character gets. Then I just one day came up with "Melledoneus" and replaced it. Now every game I play I use the username Melledoneus. Either that, or "It's a me, Galio."

If your story involves something vulgar, try to tone it down. For the children. :)

Meh, I don't really classify as a memer but I want to join the discussion :3

Since LoL had "Summoners" back then and they were able to control powerful being such as Xerath (my going-tobe-former main) and so on I wanted a name worth of a godly entity which liked meddling with cosmic powers.

Then some weeks ago Riot announced AurelionSol and I have to farm lots of mastery points on him xD (already level 5 btw).

So I figured my name should starts with "Beats". And I was also thinking of a flashy way to end my name, so I ended up with "BeatsBoyFTW", before I preferred to changed it to "BeatzBoyFTW" just to make it cooler lol.

Before I knew it, about 40% of the community thinks my name is a kind of child abuse -__-

now, that's a long story for me, I was first known on the rift as ShadowRaptor89 which was my go to username ever since I started playing online on the ps3 a while back. One fateful day, I had run out of champs to play and was looking at my select screen when I saw a light illuminating one of the portraits. I grasped towards the light and was greeted with the serene voice announcing the arrival of dawn. That champion, was Leona I fell in love with this lady of dawn and pledged myself to her by choosing to rename myself to show my loyalty. The name came to me while I was showering. One of my favorite songs at the time was a monstercat track called Against The Sun by Rootkit and I felt what better way to show my devotion than announcing to my opponents that they were not only facing Leona bot lane, but the sun itself. Sadly this did not translate well to the grand boards of runeterra, every where I tried to show my pride I was branded as a fraud, heretic, and traitor. This wounded my soul so badly that I was about to throw myself off the highest peak of mount targon in shame... until I realized I had JUST enough RP to change my name once more. Now some may ask "why didn't you grind enough IP to get the change for free?" well how long could YOU endure being called a heretic and traitor for what you love due to a misinterpretation in a certain situation! So. From then on. I became known as Face The Sun. So all will know where my faith lies.

Mine comes from my WoW days. Back when I first started, I had a blood Elf hunter named Ralan. I only got him to level 24 (I sucked at leveling) before my account got hacked and he got deleted. In honor of him (being one of the first times I tried the hunter class and I liked it) I carry the name Ralanr on most places I go.

This will bite me in the ass someday.

Mine was something similar.

I was writing a series of books where one of the characters name was Drake Embertine and he was essentially a god whom was questioning why he, or any god for that matter, should exist. While his daughter whom was in a mortal form and had no idea what she really was, was searching for him.

Eventually I got around to using the name for all of my online accounts.

my name was actually first made in smite. My original name was Velocirius, which was based off of a robotic vulture-like mount, called a 'Volucris,' in another game I played.

I picked up Diana late in Season 4 and I loved everything about her, especially her god-awful jokes. I used to sit around and come up with jokes and puns, and tell them to my friends when they were having a bad day.
I told one of these jokes while playing with friends on PBE a while back, and the response from one of my teammates was, "Dammit, Diana." And that's how it came to be.

Mine is just a slight play on one of Janna's lines: "Gale winds unleashed." But that was too long, so I knocked off 2 letters in such a way that it still made sense.

On the PBE, I was "16CharactersLong" for a time, after repeatedly running into the length restriction on summoner names.

My name comes from a move from a character named Kurapika in an anime called HunerxHunter. He's my favorite character in the series because his past if pretty fucked up and his Chain Jail ability is the coolest shit I've seen in anime in forever.

Anyways the ability in question "Emperor Time" is when he becomes proficient in all categories of nen. Nen is basically aura that you can manipulate and there are 6 categories. I won't go too deep but usually someone can only be proficient in one category at a time and the other categories next to your most proficient one are the ones you can somewhat use. However, Kurapika comes from a race of people who's eyes turn scarlet when they become filled with strong emotion. So basically his eyes turn red and he becomes fucking jesus.

here is the nen chart, Kurapika was a Conjurer. His nen ability allows him to conjure nen chains. He has one chain for each finger on right hand. Each chain does different things.

Sorry for going a little in detail, he's fucking bad ass.
