TBH. This has a very big Akame Ga Kill vibe.

Indeed, though RBWY was made by Monty Oum.

His animation style was very heavily influenced by quick action fighting found in both Anime and some of the comedy kung fu series out of Korea.

If you'd like to see more from Monty, check out Haloid, Dead Fantasy and some of the fights in Red Vs. Blue.

Sadly, Monty passed away in January this year.. (he was only 33) due to an allergic reaction.

Thankfully, RWBY is still being continued by the good people at Rooster Teeth. Still sucks really bad that Monty (aka Lie Ren) died.

Honestly I do not know if they really are continuing it. (Oh god I hope they do! DX) On the website it gives contradictory information, saying that the show IS in production, however also saying that there are NO cast members. How can you have a show with no cast members to voice the characters?

Again I really do hope they are continuing it.

It's like the first post on there XD

And also via the Wikipedia page (Yeah, I know, oh so reliable lol) "This left the future of the series uncertain for a brief period of time until voice actor Gray Haddock announced that the series will continue, and that Volume 3 will premiere in 2015 as planned."

I know they're going to continue it. Monty Oum didn't do the whole thing by himself. He passed his work onto the production so they can continue it and make it even better. Look at Red vs Blue, it's still doing it! Otherwise, we would have been seeing only gameplay action scenes with no sign of animated action packed fight sequences. We wouldn't have those cut scenes that took place inside the prison ship. I guarantee RWBY is not dead. Monty Oum would never want that and they know it.
