Riot is Mordekaiser.
Think about it.
The Mordekaiser rework is widely seen as a massive failure. Mordekaiser is clearly a pain in the butt to deal with, and it made him even more painful to fight than pre rework.
Mordekaiser mains complain and get ignored. Cassiopeia mains get war flashbacks of the ignorance. Mordekaiser gets completely obliterated as a character and changed into someone or, more honestly, something nobody can identify with(except, like, that one guy who feels like the third Q is like being Sauron and slamming a single dude). Everybody screams at Riot and tells them they hate it. Even the professionnal scene hates it.
What does that mean? Well, some would argue that Riot enjoys this. It's like this sadistic silence where they see everyone suffer. Some think they like it. But some others would say "but Riot suffers of this rework like us! It's clear it's a toxic pile of...digested food. Riot can't "feed" off our pain, as some proclaims, because they are suffering as much as us with this rework!"
What if...what if it was both? What if Riot was fed by both our suffering...and their own?
Riot wanted to suffer and make us suffer. It's clear now. Riot is Mordekaiser and enjoys the pain the rework gives everyone.
This whole post's a joke, i hope you understood that.
As for me, it is 3 am as i write this and i claim: im tired of it all. I stopped playing Mordekaiser mid season 3, sometimes bringing him back for the sake of giving a Zed/Fizz midlaner an existential crisis, and that's about it. Now he's back and im glad some people still play him necause i thought no one did.
One thing's for sure about me: im going to make a pretty big Urgot post and try to make sure Riot at least reads it before going ham with the rework.
Do not rest in peace, giant metal man, for peace was never your style. Instead, rest in a tomb that's permanently on fire and full of screaming sinners like Riven mains.
