"there will be no retreat" = randuins omen YOU Q in pop randuins and it slows all enemies AOE preventing them from retreating "Now we turn the tide" / Rage against the dying of the light = " item 3156 item 3812 and the olditem 3124
Pain is temporary victory is forever= spirit visage..allows you to heal more hence why pain is temporary Peace is the greatest lie of all = basically meaning MAX cdr ....never give your enemy alot of breathing room ( which means always attempt to knock up and slow them ) you give your enemies peace when your abilities is on cooldown since aatrox is meant to be a hyper aggresor.. you should never give your enemies breathing room ( more attack speed more cdr) "let fear become fury" meaning even when your health is low.....GO HAM....BUILD GA...dont be afraid..

You're reading way too far into the quotes. Not to mention this is the wrong board, shouldn't it be going into Story, Art, & Sound? Story of Aatrox, sound (quotes), or even Gameplay (Building Aatrox from quotes..) I don't think this build would work at all, nor would it be efficient or viable. Death's Dance, maybe. Blade of the Ruined King is a basic necessity on Aatrox.. you haven't included that anywhere. Randuin's is a situational item at this point, considering it's for reducing the damage crits do, and is build mostly by tanks. Deadman's Plate would be a much better choice for armor, Ninja Tabi even. Merc Treads with Hexdrinker/Maw provide enough MR for a general bruiser/fighter lane, Visage for sustaining through the game; again, a situational item. Not necessarily needed on Aatrox. He would benefit more from the Hard CC immunity from Veil. Old Guinsoo's was a waste on Aatrox, considering it cleared far too fast for him to lifesteal off of a wave efficiently.

For the Randuin's "There will be no retreat," that refers to the slow on Aatrox's Q (after knockup) and E, the knockup and engage on Q, along with the sustain from W, and range extension on ultimate. Turning the tide refers to the ultimate Bloodwell fill as well as the sustain on W.
