Ranked is overrated anyway.
When you thought you had a chance to play with the legendary Malicious Metal someday but you then realize you two are in completely different regions.....[zombie-nunu-bummed]
Promos suck and are a deterrent to playing ranked. It's a shitty system that should be abolished.

About a month before the end of the season I made it to my plat Bo5. Being my first season I was very excited and determined to make it, I played three best of fives in one day, staying up to five in the morning. I each series was closer than the next, I lost the third because of a single team fight. The next day I was devestated, and went on tilt, went on a 15 game losing streak and ended the season at Gold V.

Reality:
I did my placements, got placed in S4, had some fun with a friend in ranked, then promoted to S3 and stopped playing ranked. (a total of 20 games, lol)
