LOL! He absolutely does! Wither is a direct counter to mobile and AS champions. His AOE shred guarantees any armor she builds is irrelevant and his ult is a complete "Fuck you" to Riven's ult.

Riven isn't an AS champion, plus item 3139 is still an item you can buy, Riven's only defensive item should be this item 3026 plus Riven's ult deals damage based on how much health the enemy champion has left, meaning the kill zone is bigger with champions that have more health .-.

If I ult and get 600 health back that weakens her ult. I never or rarely see Riven take mercurial. It is always BC into Ghost blade and she has a ton of resets on her auto's from her kit plus all of her skill are damage based. Wither helps shut that down. Riven is not a counter unless the Nasus is terrible or she get's a ton of jungle help.

That doesn't weaken the ult though .-. having more health doesn't weaken Riven's ult, Riven's ult damage is based on %Max Health the more health you have the more health you can have left in order for Riven's ult to deal the same ammount of damage it would to an Ashe with lower HP .-.

Riven counters Nasus easily. Riven can trade with Nasus all early game. All she has to do to win lane is freeze at her tower and harass him every time he walks up to cs. Only a braindead Riven would lose to a Nasus. Right when Riven gets 6 before him she can all in and it's an easy kill. She can also take stormraider's to counter wither. Finally Riven's do build merc scim a lot. Riven's usual build this patch is BC > DD > Boots > GA > Merc scim > LDR, BC DD GA being the core and the rest situational. Merc scim is really important on Riven considering hard cc can take her out of the whole teamfight.
