Odd Rulebook Format

So i should be getting and playing my copy of the game later today, so i went ahead and downloaded the rulebook to read. (this was super helpful to have up early FYI thanks)

I was kinda confused at the layout of the rulebook. It is all of the keywords and mechanics and pieces in alphabetical order. Now i have a fairly large board game collection but i am curious why you chose to create the rulebook this way rather than maybe: 1- Characters 2-A simple round tutorial. 3-Piece names 4-Extra rules

Not to say this is wrong, and i assume more rules will be solidified with mission booklets, but it was extremely odd to me.

Any Rioters out there have a good response?

That download is like a glossary of terms, used for further clarification. Also, it contains spoilers so just wait and follow the instructions and tutorials that come in the box :)

Going through the tutorials and missions in order explain the baseline of the rules that you're accustomed to. The rulebook itself is more of a reference.
