Flu season is here, avoid the plague! Morg (the better sister) and Kayle (ugh) just launched, we’re rapidly approaching make-or-break points for LCS teams, and Riot talked about positional ranking here if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

**Server Stuff: **

  • Missions script cause delay to mission progress (3/2, ~44 minutes) The NOC starts to see a delay in mission progress completion metrics. This also seems to coincide with a database running a cleaning script to free up space. When the script ended, the delay in mission progress mysteriously disappeared. Case closed Watson!

  • Configuration change causes login errors (3/4, ~3 hours) A configuration change causes log in errors to spike to 5% on average. Since that should be 0%, the configuration change was rolled back, and log in errors magically disappeared. Said configuration change enters review to figure out why it caused that, and delayed until fixed.

  • Missions and Store Content Live Early (3/5, ~2.5 hours) In the excitement of getting new Morgana and Kayle out, various content was toggled live before it was scheduled. The mistake was caught and content was toggled back off, waiting for the proper time to be set live. What can we say, the sisters are a little-bit overzealous...

For some reason for the last 3 or 4 patches i have an issue that the lol patcher isnt working properly. Like it says we have return to a prior patch and now we will restast and try to update it to the most recent one. Of cource that doesnt end there. For some reason the last 0.3 MB doesnt want to get load up like for 15 min ( the rest of the 4MB or 34 MB of the update is done is like 3 mins). So i close it and the process comes again. So after a total of close to 30 minutes I can go to the stage that the cliet has downloaded the update and now it applies. From there is 5 minutes to end. AND AFTER ALL THAT I can log in and be able to play normally the game. Until the next mini patch or quick fix comes in which i will need to spend half hour to get my client working. At this point i consider unistalling and then reinstall the game. It takes about 40 minute for me to download it and I am free to do other stuff too.

Lets remember guys. This is a small indie company. We cant expect everything to run perfect. Things like Spectator bugs making LCS a chore to watch, or the fact that nobody can log into their clients. IT HAPPENS. Forget about it. They'll fix it eventually. Lets just be glad that we're getting all those prestige skins everyone loves!

I hope you're kidding when saying cased closed. The matter should should "enter review to figure out [what] caused that" instead. Something that mysteriously disappeared can mysteriously appear again.

Some issues you guys should look into:

-Game stuttering. Causes lag despite pretty stable fps.

-EXTREMELY SLOW CLIENT logging in. I have to wait like 30 seconds or longer to let the client load. It used to be a lot faster

-Loot doesn't always load

-Client still doesn't try to reconnect if you're on a laptop and close it and come back. When you open your laptop again it'll FORCE you to click 'Exit.' Then you have to log in all over again. But with the old client it would always reconnect when you come back. PLEASE fix this. I spend the majority of my time on League on a laptop and I have to close it a few times. When I come back it should smoothly reconnect.

-Loading into Champ select can be very laggy sometimes

-The player cards in loading screen sometimes freezes and you can't smoothly click everything quickly. Not a big deal but writing it here nonetheless.

I started getting some graphical glitches which sometimes when I hover over something then it stretchces its texture for a sec and causes my game to freeze on black screen and I usually just die for no reason, started happening after recent patches since I didnt touch my pc in a long time but I dont wanna play the game when I can loose because of something I cant control from my end

I've been noticing severe lag when in queue for a game. Just tested it today and it gets so bad that music cuts out whenever i try to adjust rune pages or even swap champions in aram (the champ swap causes the screen to freeze upwards of 5 seconds.)

I still want to see an update/upgrade to Galieo's Ult. If you have weak/scary players on your team that either can't or won't initiate than his ult is useless unless everybody on the enemy team is low health and they are chasing a low health teammate. If Riot changed his ult to target anything ally it would help, examples: wards, minions, towers. then he could ult in on single enemy caught out or possible a retreating enemy, or to save tower if no one is alive or close enough.

Client lag. It was fine a while ago. I ran league without low spec mode and didn't have any problems, but right now I have to run low spec mode and then have to wait 5 seconds to change runes in champ select.

I keep having an issue where I load into games then the screen freezes and I have to log out of my computer then log back in. I think it's a client issue because i can still use my computer the in game league just freezes. I can still hear league voice and everything.

Hey! For the last few weeks I've had major issues logging in, and I still am. When this first started, I got stuck in the loop of reverting to the previous version and updating. So, I clean reinstalled the game.

When I reinstalled the game, I was still stuck in the loop, but then the game just stopped patching. I couldn't figure out why the game refused to patch, and I went for a few days without being able to play. I clean reinstalled the game on my second SSD, yet the issue still persisted.

I left the client open over night, and in the morning the game had patched, but I was unable to login because the client was saying I was possibly offline. I tried every solution under the sun for this, and ended up just coinflip restarting the client over and over until it said I wasn't offline. This would take probably 7-15 minutes until the client started properly. I did this for all of last patch.

My game was unable to patch on wednesday's patch, and I couldn't start the client directly from the last patch's folder, so I tried to clean reinstall the game using a VPN. The game downloaded and patched perfectly, and I was able to log in. Here's the catch, my client will only let me login on a VPN, or trying to coinflip whatever server the client connects to until I get it to work, as I said earlier.

I believe the cause of this may be because I am on my University's internet, and I can not manually set my DNS: it gets automatically assigned. I have not yet found a solution besides fooling the client by using a VPN. Could I perhaps get some insight on this?

PS: the HexTech support tool hardly functions and should probably be looked at eventually

I still have problems where my client, while in game, for some reason freezes and that is getting me leaver buster. It only happens on the main client. My other games don't have this problem including the beta client.

What I want to know is when is the random trying to reconnect issue is going to be fixed.... I normally sit at like 32 to 34 ping and I'll get at random trying to reconnect anywhere from 2 to 6 times a match. wouldn't be to bad if they lasted like 10 seconds but they go on for minutes at a time. anyone else having this issue as well? Before you ask if it's my comp or net it's not as I just finished upgrading my comp and am now 3 grand in the hole. Also using best net available from shaw and can run every other game perfectly with no lag issues at 120 to 140 fps and a ping of 30.
