The Preseason Bush changes

So far, I'm more or less very happy about the changes coming next season. I think the support gold mechanic is long overdue, the vision game is now a lot more interesting and fair, and both junglers and supports will now have a much more involved role.

But, the changes to the bushes is what, for a lack of a better word, irks me. It may seem small and inconsequential, but I think the changes are unnecessary and stifle interesting game play strategies.

With the current bush layout, for example around the Blue Buff area, the warder must make a conscious decision. Ward past the camp and in the bush section beyond. This provides vision of the path towards you if you are attempting a steal, or just want to know positioning, ect. But, warding here comes at a cost, that cost being the actual vision of the buff and the camp. Likewise, warding the part of the brush that actually gives vision of the camp costs the warder vision of the incoming pathway. The same goes for the banana bush, where you either have to provide greater vision into the jungle at the cost of river vision, or vice versa. With the removal of pink wards' invisibility in particular, I think the changes to the brushes seems stifling.

Furthermore, it counters gameplay options outside of warding. Ambushes or sneaking around is now a lot less viable with less elaborate bush control, making the game far more streamlined and less exciting. Furthermore, the interesting mechanic of junglers "lane ganking" (which requires the lane to shove minions) is now a lot less viable or considerable with the triple brushes instead of the double. This also messes with the warding game because there is far less incentive for junglers to take alternate ganking paths other then rushing in from the river/tri bush anymore. this also leads to less interesting gameplay from both a laning and jungling perspective.

Lastly, it just seems unnecessary. I browse r/Leagueoflegends, the GD, and the Community forums a lot, and I personally have almost never seen threads complaining about the layout of bushes. From my perspective, this change came entirely out of left field, wasn't really discussed with much of the community (or even really mentioned in passing).

These are just my thoughts and I'm sure lots of people think the topic is just unnecessary. I'm curious what anyone has to say though, so please give your two cents.

tl:dr the brush changes seem unnecessary and contrary to more interesting styles of gameplay.
