@Ironstylus The idea of a nasus skin that keeps the original VO

I personally think you're disregarding the community's love of the original nasus voice over too easily. Riot has often spoken that their moto is to be the most player focused game in the world, and I think you do that very well. But it is very clear to me and many that the original nasus voice is something League's players love very dearly. I personally have made the joke many times that "I don't care whose voice they chance as long as its not Nasus". You said that the reaction you'd seen to the new voice was overall very positive, and from what I've seen of the PBE forums, that is very understandable and has something to be said for. Which brings us to the original point. A traditional Nasus skin would retain what many of us think you are throwing away with this new outlook on Nasus, which is his sophistication. To me personally, the new voice sounds far more feral then the Nasus I know and love, and in many ways bears too much semblance to the voice for Renekton. Something can be said for this direction, after all he is a jackal god who fights in the League and bears many many references to Anubis. But thats not what he has ever been to me. He's been a powerful librarian with a deep and refined tone, and I think you are disregarding this outlook all too easily. In all honesty, I'd gladly take the fewer lines he currently has in order to keep the voice of the Nasus I know and love.

tl;dr the new nasus voice is ok but a traditional skin would let some of us hold on to what we think nasus is, and what this new voice is not.
