Really? I'm already bad as is I, but I don't need bronze on my team to remind me how bad I am. I am trying to climb, but I cannot do this when I don't get matched with people my skill level. Granted sometimes you need to play against someone better to improve; however EVERYONE does not want someone in a lower tier being put on their team. Please just fix Duo Queue to be duoing with people ONLY in your tier it would make Solo Queue slightly easier.
You do realize that with the current safety net of tiers, someone in silver 5 could be as low as bronze 4 in actual skill?
This is why we also have hidden MMR's off of which matchmaking is based. Leagues are just a simplified way of viewing that MMR, roughly.
Basically, don't use the division/tier of your teammates to make judgments about their skill level.
Try to focus on your own plays, not on your team; that's not to say completely ignore your team, but you probably get what I mean. I'm Silver, and I've been matched with Golds who are sometimes a bit better, sometimes shouldn't be in ranked at all. I really wouldn't pay attention to their rating unless they're Gold II +, but that's just me.
