With the introduction of Sightstone, the green wards you have in your inventory are not really usefull after you buy it because you have nearly infinite wards. I wonder if it is possible to make pink wards build from green wards.
At the moment green wards = 75gold pink wards = 100 gold
What if pink wards were built from green wards + 25 gold ?

MrBuffington1 votesI usually rush sightstone first buy as support if I can, sometimes when I back though I have less than 800 gold. Usually I would go ruby crystal + green wards, but I'm always scared of buying too many cause I'll get sightstone next buy, this would be a great way to relieve that fear since if I have like, 900 gold on first back, I'd buy sightstone and a pink anyways.
It also might encourage other lanes to buy more wards, since there's less a chance it could go to waste.

Papy Mougeot1 votesFor a support that already has less gold than "farmers" (in general), it help manage this gold by upgrading your ward that you don't need because you have sightstone into a vision ward and just for 25 gold.

Unless they use the red trinket they are invisible anyway whereas most people destroy pinks almost immediately. I understand the premise with this upgrade idea but honestly you should be buying both anyways.

Prophesin1 votesWhen I support I always find myself having at least one stealth ward still in my inventory while I have my sightstone. Upgrading that stealth ward to a vision ward would save a lot of gold. Great idea, I think it should be implemented.

Inlex1 votesOne small problem: if you have full inventory, which obviously isn't at 800g back, but later on, you could have the situation that you have 2 greens and no room to split for pinks, assuming you can only upgrade 1 green at a time.
This would mean that you could only upgrade an entire stack of items. Thinking ahead would be involved and we all know how that works out for most players...
Other than that, I think it's a good idea. As a main support, I have the 'uselss green' dilemma all the time, since I have to back pre-6 a lot. (I like to go all in, get the carry a kill and escape with 2% hp)

Currently if you are full build with 2 or more green wards, you need to sell your wards if you want to buy a pink ward anyway. But if you already have a sightstone there is no reason that you didn't upgrade the green wards into pinks wards way before to be full build. And technically we can just make that if you are full build with at least 2 wards and try to upgrade them into a pink ward then nothing happen.

the Anarchit3cht1 votesThat is true. But I think 5 would be a healthier number. Because believe it or not, people still complain that I don't have enough wards up when I have all 3 placed down. Or they complain that I put them in bad spots etc. If I could provide a little more coverage then they would have nothing to whine about.
