I can honestly say I would rather face the old AP nidalee than the current bruiser nidalees

Currently everything that the new nidalee does screams annoying, her build path is just like that of tank irelia, except she has an execute, an escape, and a heal, while being extremely hard to pin down or even kill. It is reminiscent of the old atmogs nid, except i feel like its a bit worse because she has a gapcloser.

Given, she needs to land a spear first before being able to do her thing, but once you are below 70% health on most champions it feels like once spear lands gives her a guaranteed kill or summoners burned. The old nidalee's spears, while extremely annoying, didnt give you the sense of pressure of impending doom the moment you get hit.

That's just one thing, but I believe overall the current nidalee feels like a huge pain to play against.

Her defined role is an assassin, so i feel that her damage is in a good spot.

However, the as boost from her heal makes her human autos feel like a semi-weak adc is attacking you

I feel that her ad ratio on takedown is a bit high, and swipe could use some minor ad scaling.

Her heal is too powerful for ad nidalee.

The big change was from a poke mage into an assassin.

Everyone who hated the old nidalee and begged for her to be changed forever have no right to complain about her current state. You all got exactly what you wanted: weaker spears. Yes her spears are weaker now but for her to be viable, the rest of her kit needed to pick up the slack.

Actions have consequences and all balances and reworks have to keep champions viable. Take away power from one area and you have to rebalance another with more power. No, riot isn't just going to delete every champ people complain about. They wouldn't have a game if they did that.
