Draven's Passive is either complete **** or the worst case of INVISIBLE POWER ever
I don't know which it is, but Draven's new Passive is either underpowere, or it's this game's worst case of invisible power ever.
Is it bad? I don't know, it's complete trash if you're doing badly, and it's needless extra gold if you're already crushing the lane. It doesn't trigger if your support accidentally kills the enemy champion(Sona!), and when you do...eh, yay?
Is it invisible power? This means this new Passive does in fact contribute to Draven's kit, and that it serves a great purpose, except the player doesn't feel it's contribution! In fact, while most cases of invisible power leaves your players feeling nothing, Draven's Passive sometimes makes you feel WORSE.
"Alright time for my ****ty passive to pay off once I land this last hi-dammnit Soraka!"
"Alright I killed a champion now time for this passive to pay off!!" ding "...really? That's it? I built up all that adoration for that?"
"Alright I killed a champion, now time for my Passive to-oh right I just died and I lost a lot of adoration..."
Riot, you've always said that the worst design is one who is strong, but feels terrible right? Well here's your most extreme example of that case. And if it isn't invisible power, then it's just plain terrible.
tl;dr - can we have a new better passive please? Like how about a Passive where Draven gets some sort of buff depending on how many spinning axes he is carrying at a time? Or something else that's satisfying. Whether the new Passive is actually viable or not, one thing's for sure, it feels terrible to have.
PS - how do you edit titles?
