@Riot: Thank you, Thank you for looking into Ashe.
I realize that this is a very small tentative PBE change, but it does show that you're at least looking into Ashe, and how she's frankly getting out classed by ... lots of ADCs at the moment.
Since I've only been playing since Aatrox, there's never been a time for me when Ashe was 'good.' Nonetheless, I played her heavily pre-30 and still play her, mostly because she's one of my favorite ADCs, despite her underwhelming kit.
I've taken on a challenge to play an additional 100 games on her, but as of now I still think that she is a very dangerous pick in Solo Queue, as she is more heavily reliant on her support, and the rest of her team, both for her survival and follow up damage. She is not an ADC very well suited to Solo Queue, which is sad for those who play her, as the majority players are probably in Solo/Duo Queue.
I don't think simply changing the gold on Hawkshot is all that is needed to put Ashe back 'in a good place', but this is a start, and for that I thank you. Now, there may be some actual incentive to level it, as I've played games where I completely forgo it until there is nothing else to level.
I also think looking into Focus and Frost Shot will be worthwhile ; both of these abilities are both underwhelming and also, to be honest, rather boring to use. I know Riot puts a lot of emphasis on making champions 'fun' to play, but in all honesty, the only thing I find 'fun' about playing Ashe is her ultimate. Her passive is almost completely unnoticed by players, and it seems almost unfair that Ashe's Volley doesn't have an innate slow, and there is nothing but a Slow on Frost Shot. With steroids on other ADCs, Frost Shot, without some AS, also feels very underwhelming unless playing increasingly from ahead.
I will definitely revisit this topic, especially as ranked starts again for Season 4. But for now, Thank you for starting to look into Ashe, but I think there might still be some work to be done with her.
