@Riot, could Miss Fortune receive new VO lines to match the depth of her character?

I am floored by how serious and deadly Miss Fortune is. And as a fan of hers, I was thrilled to see her featured prominently in the Burning Tides. She has shown how cutthroat it is in Bilgewater, how cunning and intelligent one must be to survive - and thrive - in her environment, which has made her into the Hunter she is today - which I feel is the goal of any narrative.

Now, to have this narrative continue, I want to take Captain Fortune out on the rift and revel in her newfound glory.

But there is currently a rather large split between the character I read and the character I am hearing. Miss Fortune currently still refers to Summoners, and has an attitude that reflects haughty shallowness, and does not have many lines at all. This would make sense if Summoners still existed, but now, we are listening to the character's internal commentary, and there is no need for her to put on an act for herself.

I am not saying that I don't enjoy some of Miss Fortune's quips, but It would be incredible to have additional lines that hint at her depth and true motives.

I know Miss Fortune's kit has been controversial here on the boards as of late, but ignoring the dichotomy of her kit and her lore, simply focusing on making Miss Fortune the full, deepest character that I've fallen in love with all over again with the Burning tides, would really accomplish the goal of the story:

Evolving characters that drive us to dive into the rift again and again to live their adventures. (Except GP. Too soon?)

I want to play as serious & badass MF,not Ms. Sexy.Some of her more dangerous side should be shown in game.She killed GANGPLANK,who was basically the pirate king of Bilgewater.Her "hot & sexy (& outdated)" VO isn't properly displaying her true character.

My heart says yes, but my brain says "It's not gonna happen." Honestly speaking, they JUST did her VU. They're not gonna go back for her for a while. Plus, VOs aren't that easy to do. If you're gonna go in just to add a few lines, you might as well go in for the big job. And that's expensive, both in time and money.

I would love for MF to have new lines that allude to her character. Right now every single thing she says is incredibly sultry and - well - tacky. I want to hear the Pirate-Hunter, the vengeful new self-proclaimed Queen of Bilgewater who wants to eliminate all the men who served Gangplank and murdered her family, and serve them to the sharks. I want to hear the voice of the person who masterminded a vengeance plan a decade in the making against the most powerful man of the seas. Not the stripper-with-guns that we currently have. They did it with Sivir... why not her?

I would SO love this, but... MF's VA always remain elusive at this point, we don't even know who she is. So do you think Riot would hire someone to redo MF's voice?

Yeah, I was just thinking this exact thing when I looked back at her. I also like the recent lore version of MF, so it'd be a nice improvement overall for me personally

She definitely could afford to lose the Han Solo references. They're cute and all, but they really aren't needed.

But she has to keep her joke quote. The innuendo in that is just... it'd be unacceptable to remove it.

Yeeeeep. I found her character/lore a bit disappointing prior to the event to be honest, because she just seemed pretty stereotypical in terms of "pirate" themed female characters in the media. (See "Pirate Girl/Female Pirate" on Google Images... lol) Not to mention her skin betrayed a bit of an imbalance between her flirtatious and badass sides... I almost wish Captain Fortune could be her default skin now. But with all this sweet, sweet new lore, she's way more intriguing and multi-dimensional as a character... it would be pretty awesome if her VO could reflect that.

From what we've seen of her,she does act flirty and all on the outside.(she acts like that in her first appearance of this act)

Yes, an update is highly needed. Also I don't think just recording voiceacting takes more time than a visual or gameplay update.

It costs an assload of money to hire voice actors, all for a couple lines is not worth it at all.

I doubt they will. Whenever this is brought up (to add VO to older champs) they always say they reserve that for complete relaunch a la sion/tristana/the rest.

Unfortunately, since she just got her model update and such, it seems we don't have a chance of getting new VO for her for a long, long time. Which is super disappointing!
