The nerfs yasuo needs, not the ones everyone thinks he deserves

Yasuo

The 3 things he needs to have happen are:

  1. When he windwalls it uses up his flow bar and it lasts for an appropriate amount of time based on how much flow was used. 1-3 secs. This makes him have to think on when he uses it and it gives his opponents counterplay to the windwall (besides moving through it) by popping his shield prior to it. It was always meant to be a reactionary measure and this makes it more so.

  2. Windwall's passive numbers need nerfing. The ones they used for a while back on pbe were good. This gives more counterplay to his shield by increasing it's downtime when it gets popped.

  3. A slight change to his shield amount earlier on but keeping the final one. To keep in touch with the original idea of him having a weak early game.

current:

60/65/70/75/85/95/110/125/145/170/200/240/290/350/420/500/590/690

proposed:

50/55/60/65/80/95/110/125/145/170/200/240/290/350/420/500/590/690

As you can see it hits his early game by making him a little squishier, but not so much that he can be sneezed on and dies.

Everything else on his kit is fine, I love his synergy, and how he utilizes teamwork so efficiently.

What about increasing the base cd of windwall but allowing for decreased cooldown while he's flow is full (decrease by 0.5 sec/ sec flow is full, for example). It would give another chance at counterplay as well as a reason for a Yasuo player to actually play defensively for once :)

I respect the thought put into these. Good job.

I like the first idea of tying his wind wall cost to his flow. In the late game, as far as I've noticed, Yasuo is always at maximum flow and really becomes an anti-poke comp champ. Having his wind wall consume flow forces Yasuo players to decide if they want to disengage with the wall or go ham with the shield. However, this also removes, to a degree, some of Yasuo's gameplay since, as far as I know, Riot wanted his shield to be up almost all the time late game because he is a squishier champ. If wind wall were to consume flow, I feel that Riot would have to increase the flow gained from the W passive since Yasuo is rather squishy and he needs that shield more than you think.
Yasuo doesn't necessarily NEED these changes since I've found no problem fighting with or against him but you do bring up some good points. If anything, I think the flow gained from his movement needs to be nerfed a tad.

this is a good ideal and I feel like jungle Yauso is to powerful he is very hard to stop if you don't see him coming and if he hits the Tornado you might lose half your health or a kill is given. I also find his Steel Tempest hard to use.

Does anyone else think that Yasuo wind wall shouldnt block Varus Volley as that is more of an aerial strike than a projectile. I mean if it blocks varus volley why not kog ult .... Which would be stupid -_-

I agree, that his Windwall is weirdly overpowered on him. I think they should tie it to his flow one way or another.
