Why are the boards still called boards beta?

I asked the same a month ago. Still no change. I've seen this done at other companies too. It seems like "beta" has no meaning whatsoever anymore. Companies just leave products in "beta" phase permanently now.

I propose Boards Beta to be named now as:

Because a majority of the people on the boards are beta af so the boards itself is named Boards Beta accordingly.

I thought people still didn't like these boards? I've seem QQ threads about it, but since I'm a new player I think this BETA style board is better than the old outdated looking one.
