Any data on Duos?
I was wondering if their was data on how far one person of a duo who is a higher-elo player can carry a team-mate that belongs at a much lower elo.
Think Silver 5 for one half of the duo, and a Gold 2-3 for the other half.

In general the gold player will fall to the midpoint of where the silver player is and the silver player will rise. This does not take into account the game knowledge of the higher level player when helping out with shot calling for a team though.
In your example I would think they would probably both end up with Silver 1 give or take MMR with enough games assuming neither player improved. Although if the silver player had decent mechanics but poor map awareness and stuff and thats why hes in silver and the gold player helped with that they could end up higher.
