Very Uneven Side Placement

I have been purple side in 18 out of my last 22 matches. That is EXTREMELY unbalanced, especially since purple is known and acknowledged to be at a disadvantage.

Just because you happen to get put on purple side a lot, doesn't mean it's unbalanced. Somebody has to be put there.

It might feel like it's unbalanced, but 50/50 is 50/50. It's like flipping a coin. There's no balancing force to say it HAS to land heads 50% of the time and tails the other 50%.

My point is that as unfair as it feels, neither you nor Riot has control over it. And trying to control it would probably be futile, and mess up the system completely.

So control what you can control (e.g. your gameplay, farming, teamfights etc etc), and don't worry what side you're on, or how your teammates are doing. Getting distracted by these things only increases your chances of losing. If your assumption is that purple team always loses, your subconscious mind is probably going to give up and not work as hard at winning when you're on the purple side.
