Client Memory Leak

The longer it is open, the slower it gets and the more memory it uses. There is a pretty bad memory leak in the 9.24 client, to the point where post game lobby completely locks up if left open long enough.

It's weird because they claim it was made with Chromium in mind which from what I know is really well optimized memory wise. But this client seems like it was made with Java, coded in a way that it would make performance the same as on a Windows XP machine.

If we could get a really clean, polished, well animated, lightweight, and fast client like the old one was everyone would be happy. Add in a Light and Dark themes as well and watch as everyone starts praising it. I don't even care if a new Launcher would be needed, as long as I am able to enjoy the client experience at least, because I sure don't like the current in-game one.

Is this why the frames have been dropping so badly?

Yeah, I've been having it too. It's pretty awful. Client will randomly start taking over 1GB of Memory and just completely chug, when it normally takes ~500mb

Yeah, there are definitely memory issues. It might be time to rebuild the client.
