Increase manaless champion costs

Maybe this is just me but I feel that Vladimir, Aatrox, Dr. Mundo and Mordekaiser should have higher health costs associated with their abilities.

My reasoning is that they get Spellvamp, lifesteal or health regen and completely mitigate the costs of their abilities or sometimes even more than that. Not to mention that all of them have some part of their kit that helps with healing.

Sure they don't do as much damage as most champs do but still, Aatrox with a item 3065 and a item 3153 can completely offset his ability costs and then some. Mordekaiser with a item 3152 basically get a free shield for smacking you in the face repeatedly. The list goes on.

All I'm trying to say is that champions with mana need to budget their resources or they run out and can no longer participate in fights. Champions who use health as a resource should also need to budget their resources or they run low on health and risk death.

I can understand Mord and Vlad but Aatrox already dies way to quickly due to his W. So he is kind of like that already because his W makes it so he uses more health but does more damage. If they were to increase the amount of health he uses, he would die right away. And also, I don't really find these a big deal anyways because what about people who just don't use anything (Ex: Yasuo). They have no costs for anything. So basically, the champs that use health are kind of like that.

calls to nerf Vladimir Aatrox and Mordekaiser ? wut? how often do you see them played in solo q? they are pretty underplayed characters, if you ask most players they aren't considered viable.

Aatrox if you're having trouble against aatrox just play a good duelist champ like Jax Fiora Pantheon and you will never lose trades to him, but watch out for the level 2 cheese.

Vladimir for vladimir you just need high burst and a distance closer, i thought it was impossible to lose laning phase with vlad until i went agaisnt a JarvanIV . alsoIrelia ... ugh...

Mordekaiser morde is pretty scary because of his passive but he loses to range. Ziggs Zyra Cassiopeia additionally mordekaiser will probably be using his all-area of affect abilities to charge up his shield, which means he will push the wave. Ask your friendly neighborhood spider- i mean jungler to camp mid if possible as morde has no cc whatsoever, no distance closers or dashes, and no mobility steriods AT ALL and therefore pretty vulnerable to ganks. Just for the sake of sweet mother phreak dont dive mordekaiser.

also as a final note these champion's main source of damage can be TOTALLY negated with itemization. That's one of the main reasons why they are so unpopular

item 3102 item 3157 item 3140 block it with banshees, use your quicksilver if you are AD and remove morde's ult debuff and vlad's plague mark. you're AP? zhonyas completely wastes any of their ultimates.

Also champions with lots of scary sustain and lifesteal or spellvamp like vladimir take summoner 14 for the love of morello it freaking reduces healing from all sources by 50%, it's super effective.

Overall these guys are tough to kill and hard to beat in laning phase, but very very easy to outduel as soon you complete a item 3157 /item 3140 or summoner 14 them and watch their scary sustain be cut in half and watch them cry

I just want to say that I play these champs sometimes and I don't have a problem with them per se. I just think that the general idea should be better balanced. I know that they're not exactly... well I don't want to say viable because all champions are viable with the exception of a few that Riot is working on but they're not used very often.

It's nothing against those champions but more against the idea of being able to completely negate the cost associated with an ability. With a champion that costs mana for example you get an item that gives mana or mana regen but you still have to watch your usage. I know that there are champions who have no cost whatsoever like Yasuo and Riven.

Basically my problem is that the champions that use health as a resource are outdated versions of those who have no cost at all. Regardless of release dates. Mord just gets some spellvamp which negates his ability costs and is essentially a resourceless champion but is forced into getting a certain item.

I'm kind of all over the place with this post but I hope you can get the gist of things.
