@FeralPony Self cast as an alternative to mouse target

I don't think this would take too long to implement. Could you pitch the idea of making things like Elise's Rappel and Summoner Heal's secondary target use self cast? By this, I mean pressing alt + E does a target-less rappel. It's a lot easier to do that than to find an empty location on the screen with your mouse.

that is an awesome idea

As awesome as this idea is, per Elise's tooltip on Rappel, it is specifically stated that,

Spider Form: Elise and her Spiderlings ascend into the air and then descend upon target enemy.

This means that she must have an enemy target, and this was done strategically. It is not meant to be a "free" escape, but rather a "strategic" escape. As for her Volatile Spiderling/Skittering Frenzy, what exactly do you mean? it's just a self-buff in spider-form and is targetless altogether! In Human form, why would you target yourself with Volatile Spiderling instead of just poking with it?

ACTIVE (ON ENEMY CAST): Elise and her Spiderlings lift up into the air, becoming untargetable for 1 second and revealing nearby enemy targets for the duration. She then descends upon the target enemy.

ACTIVE (ON GROUND CAST): Elise and her Spiderlings lift up into the air, becoming untargetable for up to 2 seconds. During that time she can cast Rappel again to descend upon a targeted enemy. If no enemy is targeted within 2 seconds, she will descend at her original location.

I'm saying that self casting the ability will behave the same way as ground cast. There is nothing changing how the ability itself works. It's only her Rappel. It has nothing to do with her human form. I'm not sure why you think otherwise.

You said, "...[her] Heal's secondary target use self cast...." and I am/was not sure what you mean(t). Mind clarifying?

I said Elise's Rappel and Heal. Heal as in Summoner Heal. Not her human form E.

Edited the OP to make it clearer.

Do note that the ability can still be cast if there are no enemy targets present or in range; however, she cannot use this to freely "jump" away—she can simply go up, stay for a moment, and then drop back onto the same spot (think of it like an elevator).
