Shyvana's ultimate should be remade

Shyvana's biggest problem is that she has no real ganking potential. She's fast, but she has no CC other than her ultimate. But her ultimate has a knockback, so unless you manage to get behind your opponent it usually just helps them escape. On top of that the knockback is very glitchy.

I think if her ultimate was changed from a knockback to a knockup it would do wonders for her. This would pretty much be Aatrox's Q. It's not the most original ability, but it's a lot more useful than a knockback. It can also use the same art, so it wouldn't require anything other than a scripting change on Riot's part.

The other thought I had was to turn it into a pull instead of a knockback by having her fly up of the screen and swoop down from a target location to another target location. But this requires a new animation completely and requires Riot to do some not-too-difficult-yet-time-consuming scripting. This is more original and a stronger initiation though.

Thoughts? Personally, initiating with a knockback never made sense to me.

I agree with the knock up idea but don't make it an aatrox knock up. Make its a shorter dash but knocked everything up underneath it. so think sona ult except a knock up.

I want the same thing but for a different reason, pushing targets away from you starting location doesn't synergize with the rest of her kit imo, particularly burnout. Ulted she gets the burning trail, but you push everyone in front of you where the trail is so easily avoidable its sad. The only way I can get this damage utilized in anything thats not a moshpit teamfight is baiting myself at low health. More often than not I can't get ahead of my target (flash, slows, dashes, anything really) and even when I gank from their side they can avoid the trail relatively easily, or just heavily mitigate it by taking only a single tic. giving even a small cc at end or during the dash will go a long way to tying everything together.

It only knockbacks if you fly over the enemy champion. If you land on them, then it doesn't knock back. But I will agree, landing a good knockback is hard, especially if you miss. But if you can land it, it will throw the enemy off what they intended to do and guarantee that you will be in melee range. Pair this with Frozen Mallet + Furor Boots and no one is running away unless you let them.

Personally I think a slow or a stun would make more sense than a knockback. That is because it would be the force from the dragon wings pushing them into the ground. If you stand too close to a helicopter taking off, you'll know what I'm referring to.
