@Lyte: I think you should seriously consider letting players know players we report have been punish
Make it an optional feature if you want. But as of right now, there is absolutely ZERO, NOTHING that comes with reporting another player.
You can argue that it "makes the game more healthy" in the long run. But it's a completely "unfelt" effect. I've run into just as many leavers as I have years ago. I've run into just as many pricks as years ago. But more importantly,** there is NOTHING to be done for the players who just had to put up with such players**. NOTHING for the players who just lost that nth 4v5 in a row. NOTHING for the player who had to watch a teammate intentionally feed just because they perceive their allies did not help them enough.
As of right now, there's still a large segment of players who do not report others, either because they're too lazy, or simply believe reporting doesn't do a thing as even after all these years the game's still riddled with leavers and insufferable players who, after enough exposure, will make other normal players worse.
I believe, that giving the players the option to receive notification that the player we report have had action taken upon them would do two things...

Show us reporting players actually do something in a more immediate fashion.

Actually gives us some satisfaction for reporting a player, it's hardly anything, but helluva lot better than reporting and moving on to play the next game with another player who ragequits or slings racial epithets because they're losing.
And if even after thinking about it, you still don't think this is a good idea, then what do you think can be done for players who actually matters in this situation? I mean the players who had their 20-50+ minute game ruined because of a single player.
