Ward hopping

So I like the concept of ward hopping on champions as a method of escape or to close a gap. I've seen a lot of posts saying the correct way to fix Lee Sin would be to just remove ward hopping and I disagree.

However, I like it more as a way to set up strategic escape routes prior to a risky invade than its current incarnation as a get out of jail free card for when you screw up. What if wards were only possible to jump to after the few seconds it takes to become invisible. That would still leave the more strategic portion of the ward hopping gameplay around while removing the annoying instant fail fixing gameplay that ward hopping currently produces.

Laners could still attempt to pre-emptively place wards deep into the lane for surprise attacks later on, or place wards over walls where they are likely to need an escape if things go bad, but it would need to be thought out before hand and the opposing team would have opportunities to sweep or pink ward area's before fights to control this mobility.

To be fair, he doesn't need ward jumping as he has so much already. He has no weakness and taking away a portion of his mobility seems like the best option.
