SO how come Frostfangs and Frost queens claim gold per 10sec has been nerfed to 2 from4? Without giving them something in return?

Because this is how it will go with the support items.
Whichever one is the best, everyone will take.
Riot will nerf whichever one is the best, then no one will take it.
Rinse and repeat until supports get 0 gold in lane again.
To bring them back in line, gold generation wise, with the other two gold income items?
Anyone who ran the numbers realizes that STE gives the most gold of the three. Same is true for Frostfang and FQC. Especially if you consider that most champions taking this item have at least one reliable way to proc the passive.
