Patch 4.5 Aegis & Iron Locket changes

When Runic Bulwark was removed, we received the status and legion passive onto Locket and Aegis so that its amazing stats an effects may carry on. But now it seems as though its use is less viable for supports, in the sense that it no longer grants armor. It was already a good change when moved to Locket, I mean yes to build Aegis it's a pain in the rear considering all of the items needed for it (And how they barely dent the price). I like the standard you have set up for 4.5 with a Negatron cloak, regen bead, and ruby crystal. But Iron Locket most definitely needs to keep Legion along with it's armor stat. Maybe you could remove the legion passive from Aegis. And tweek in on Locket. I mean you could get Spectre's Cowl to build with Aegis to make Locket. Aegis being build from cloth armor and ruby crystal. And change the Legion passive so that the wielder gains 25 magic resist, 15 armor (on Aegis)/ 20 armor (On Locket), 350 health, 10 cooldown reduction, and the legion passive spreads 20 magic resist and 10 health regen to nearby allies. That way the item isn't completely ridden of it's armor bonus. which also makes Locket a very well rounded pick.

P.S. Defense items are dying, save the regen!

P.S.S. The Boot changes are amazing, the price is good considering you know it's boots.

Honestly Riot's paranoid as hell. Sometimes I wish they'd change things to limit to classes instead for purchase instead of not bringing 'em to rift or making excuses to nerf them. Only specific items. This would make Supports the Aura bearers, and limit it as such. Champion who's a support coded goes to other lanes? Good for them. The item just wouldn't be as efficient until mid/late game.

They should have next to the gold income items tab, an aura items tab. Besides more aura items are needed. I did like the shard of true ice passive.

I think they specifically wanted it not to provide both, and thats why they made it into a pure MR Item. While your idea isnt bad, its seems like it is just buffing the item rather than clarifying its purpose, like they wanted to.

I am also really excited about the changes. Its going to be a great pair with SV

This is a very good item though an it seems to be the only well-rounded item of its class. We already have items like Abyssal (I know for ap tanks), Banshee's Veil, and Visage. I think this item would work better in favor for bottom lane and not cripple it if you have the option to choose to build aegis early with armor, or build Cowl for the regen.
