[Champion Concept]: Jayr, The Divine Rejuvenation

Hi all, I'm back with another champion concept. This one is for a melee support that provides vital health and protection based abilities to primarily one ally. This concept also delves into a support that uses both mana and health as a cost for his spells; similar to Soraka. I crafted his kit with a lot of thought, of course the numbers may be off. But I made sure that every part of his kit had purpose an extra value by being able to be used in conjunction with each other. Also his kit was made in part of two ways, in which he focused on using his damage spells to Cc enemies or he used them to protect his allies. Without further ado this is my concept for Jayr.

Passive: Invoker

Whenever Jayr binds or tethers to an ally using any of his abilities, he and his ally regenerate 25 / 50 / 75 (+10% of his bonus health) amount of health over 5 seconds.

Additionally whenever Jayr's heals or regeneration exceed his health at full health, he will store stacks based on the amount overhealed. These stacks will be consumed for added healing on his spells towards allies or added damage on his spells towards enemies.

Q: Conduit Charge / Holy Nova

Active on Ally Cast: Whenever Jayr is granted bonus regeneration or shielding through his passive or his spells, he can convert those bonuses into an instant cast heal at a targeted ally champion.

Active on Enemy Cast: Whenever Jayr is granted bonus regeneration or shielding through his passive or his spells, he can convert those bonuses into a delayed area of effect blast of energy that damages and stuns at the location of his target.

*Effects from the same source do not stack (Example: You can not get two bonuses for procing your passive twice)

Heal: 23 / 46 / 69 / 92 / 115 (+20 per Bonus within the Last 2.5 seconds) Magic Damage: 60 / 120 / 180 / 240 / 300 (+30% AP) (+20 per Bonus within the last 2.5 seconds) Stun Duration: .5 second (+.2 seconds per Bonus within the last 2.5 seconds) Damage Radius: 250 Cooldown: 12.5 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8.5 seconds Cost: Healing, Regeneration, & Shielding Bonuses + 50 Mana Range: 700

A .5 second stun doesn't sound too appealing, but it stacks an as you'll later read on you'll immediately get 3 stacks just from your passive, W passive, & E.

W: Essence Embrace

Passive: After binding to an ally, Jayr slowly gains back health based on his missing health over 4 seconds

Active: Jayr self casts a shield onto himself that deals magic damage to all nearby enemies. If Jayr is binded or tethered to an ally he will transfer the shield over to them and deal magic damage around them instead.

Missing heath regenerated: 2% Missing Health (+3% per 100 AP) Shield Strength: 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 / 110 (+25% AP) Shield Duration: 3 seconds Magic Damage: 24 / 48 / 72 / 96 / 120 (+25% AP) Damage Radius: 650 Cooldown: 11 / 10.5 / 10 / 9.5 / 8 Cost: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 Mana & 50 Health

E: Astral Projection

Active: Jayr binds to sending his physical and spiritual form to a target ally healing them. While bound his health bar will act as a shield on his ally and damage meant for his bound ally will be redirected to his health bar. If Jayr's bound ally is dealt 40% of their maximum health as damage within 3 seconds then Jayr will be forced to leave their body. Jayr can still cast his basic spells from the fixed location of his ally while bound.

Additionally your next basic attack will deal on-hit magic damage and slow the target, but your attack range will be set amount from your ally.

  1. While bound Jayr's defenses are those of his allies. (Example: If you are binded in Ashe then you will have her Armor and Magic Resist)

  2. Any movement actions will force your champion out an end the binding

  3. Polymorphs, roots, snares, an strong movement impairing effects will prevent you from binding to an ally. Silences if cast while your physical form is traveling to your ally will prevent the binding.

Heal Amount: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 (+40% AP) On-hit Magic Damage: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+40% AP) Slow Strength: 40% Slow Duration: 1 second Cooldown: 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16 seconds Bound duration: 10 seconds Cost: 65 Mana & 10% Maximum health Cast Range: 600 Attack Range: 300

R: Rejuvenation Transcendence

Active: On cast Jayr channels in place and sends a tether to an ally champion that surrounds them in a rapidly generating / regenerating shield based on his maximum health over 6 seconds. The tethered will not break no matter how far the champions are from each other once the connection is made. Jayr is free to cast all of his basic abilities towards his linked target while channeling, but any movement or enemy abilities that disrupt his channel will end his ultimate prematurely.

Unique interaction:

  1. Casting Jayr's Q when channeling his ult will send an immediate heal towards the champion he is tethered too, but he cannot use the damage portion of it during the channel.

  2. Casting Jayr's W while channel will transfer a damaging shield to the link ally champion.

  3. Casting Jayr's E will Astral Project himself into his linked ally healing them

*Ending Jayr's ultimate prematurely through movement will drain an immediate 60% of his current health on cancellation

Shield Generation / Regeneration: 3 / 4 / 5% Maximum Health Cooldown: 140 / 130 / 120 seconds Cost: 40% of current health over 6 seconds or 60% on cancellation Cast Range: 800

For context Jayr means healer. To summarize my thought process on this concept, I wanted to create a champion with the same utility / defensive and follow up capabilities as Thresh or Rakan. But I wanted to specifically create a champion that used health as a resource to mitigate their healing, regen, and shielding capabilities. To further the fact of non-abuse on Jayr's abilities I made sure that his basic spells would also cost mana to strain his early game, along with cooldowns that would ensure fair fights / correct usage of spells.
