A New Talon Passive

Mandaari··2 votes·2,005 views

Upon champion kill or assist Talon becomes stealthed for 2/3/4 seconds.

I just kind of threw this into a thread on GD about Talon and it got upvoted pretty quickly, so I figured I'd throw it on here. Most of the talk in the thread was about Talon needing an escape so I tossed out that suggestion. It doesn't give mobility or CC that he doesn't need.

His R already is basically this though. As you burst them down ( E > AA > W > Q > R ) you walk away w/ R activated and you are invis. Use his bleed dmg and then let the rest of R finish if needed.

If you had this passive, you would R and walk away and then get another 2/3/4 secs of invis. Seems OP :D

2/3/4 are just numbers. It could just as easily be 1/1.5/2.

Also Talon's bleed DPS is very low, and it's pretty common to get out of his ultimate if Talon wants to use the stealth duration before reactivating it. You can be forced to not get the full 2.5 second stealth out of your ult. Not only that, but contracting your ult telegraphs exactly where you went. Giving him a small window to keep moving would let him R > R sooner without adding any extra power to his kit.

Im new to the site so sorry if this is a necro. His passive at the moment is one of the worst in the game. That being sad I have to disagree with you on this part of your post "His R already is basically this though" In most cases in game you have to immediately blow both portions of your ult if you want any hope of killing that enemy unless you go IE + SOTD which the majority of Talon players do not do. The only situations you dont pop both R's immediately are if that enemy was already half dead, you arent even close to killing them so you want to try to escape or you were so grossly overfed it wouldnt have mattered who you were playing.

I cant actually find many situations this passive would matter in a 1v1 since your entire kit is now on CD. Even after that 2 seconds is up you still cant do anything for at least 4 more seconds but walk around and try to melee things. (assuming you have 40% cdr built) Whats worse is that in team fights you would just be randomly going invisible when a teammate finishes an enemy. It wouldnt give talon very much control and would be frustrating for the enemy when he randomly vanishes.

I like it, sounds a bit overpowered, but it's a good concept. Does it fit into his kit ? Yes, yes it does :D

Talon's passive is the most noticeable early and mid game, but late game his passive really doesn't seem to do a lot. What I hope Riot would do (at least for now, if they won't rework it) is to make it work with all kinds of cc, not just with slows, stuns, immobilizes, and surpresses, but also with polymorphs, blinds, silences, taunts, etc. Pretty much make it work with all forms of cc except for the four specific ones. I don't see the silence from his E work with this because it lasts for such little time he normally doesn't get an auto in that time interval. Anyways, it'd be nice to see what Riot thinks of this too! Thanks for reading.
