Minor change to minion health bars; adds clarity and focus to laning phase

Here is a simple idea that would be helpful for players and hopefully easy to implement.

With the addition of jungle camp/buffs/dragon/baron health bars showing HP values and segmented (by 100hp increments) I believe adding a similar feature to minions would be a great.

Here is why:

  1. It adds clarity to the game
  2. The information is already available via clicking on a minion
  3. Simply portrays that information in easier visual manner
  4. Gives focus to laning and interaction with lane opponent (slightly less focus on minions)
  5. Helps new players with improving their last hitting and decreases the learning curve of last hitting
  6. The same challenges of last hitting still apply (timing creeps hitting each other, and timing auto attacks or spells)

I know the community will probably overreact to something along the lines of "too easy" or "making things casual" but I believe the change will help improve laning gameplay between the players. It will marginally make last hitting any easier with the same challenges applying. But that margin will provide a tiny bit more focus on player to player interactions in lane (which is far more interesting and engaging than last hitting!)

With all of the quality of life changes going around the rift I believe this change will fit right in.

I think that'd make an approaching minion wave look all kinds of chaotic. Honestly that idea doesn't seem like it'd make things simpler so much as impossible to understand

Without seeing it in action, my gut feeling is that it would make the minion wave too cluttered with information.

With camps/buffs/dragon/baron, there's a possibility of smite wars. In these, timing your smite at the exact number value is super important -- looking at the hp number in the upper left is something that people would actually do.

By contrast, I don't know how many people consistently click on a minion to see it's hp, to compare it with their own AD. That, combined with what others have said, leads me to think we shouldn't have it.

From a gameplay perspective, there's nothing wrong with it. It's just the clarity\visual clutter element that I find objectionable.

That being said, we could probably make their hp bar segmented without a problem.
