So, what made you do this? The only part of his kit that interacts with AD is his autos, not even the meeps interact with it.

Have you tried jungle Bard? It's pretty fun too. The early clears are kinda bad but you can use W to sustain, and they improve once you buy . By mid/late game + Devourer + Meeps + gives a lot of burst on autoattacks.

BotRK is really good on champs that are packed with utility. Have you considered grabbing a Zeke's on AD Bard? That 20% CDR is nice, and you don't have any physical AOE to make Black Cleaver do its thing that well in comparison.

Also on that note, what's your take on Bloodthirster vs. Essence Reaver for Bard?

You should give a try to AD Leona top: Rush a trinity force, boots and 3rd item hydra. Melt faces with the power of the sun. Standard skill order: Qfirst,Esecond,Wthird,max W first then E and last Q. 9/21/0 masteries so you can survive trades early game, for runes take lifesteal quints(bear with me here), armor yellows, scaling mr blues and AD reds. Take a dorans blade with a pot and enjoy free sustain thanks to your inherent tankyness, enjoy the on hit ms boost from the phage while chasing bitches down, not to mention your Q procs ALL on hit effects. The alpha damage from a tri-force empowered Q+hydra is monumental, not to mention that Q also resets your autoattack timer, and with your W open you are tankier than 90% of top laners at any given time.
