RIOT Game Plz HELP!

I am generally from Russia :) It's not about the internal laws of Europpa or my country... This is a new YouTube algorithm that is apparently being tested and I was not lucky to get under it. I wrote in support and got the answer the same as in the screenshot. I have a full text version of correspondence with support (communication was in the YouTube support chat). If RIOT ask her, I will give it.

To be honest it might not be Riot auto claiming stuff it might be something screwy on YouTube end. I notice that you're from EUW and I know article 13 got pass (not sure if it is law currently in you're area or not) but it might be related to that. Also it seems the answer they gave is vague as hell. Doesn't tell what exactly what you violated in their terms of service . But hey if it is that i hope riot can get you taking care of. Would also recommend contact support with a link to this form when you do.

No country has yet implemented the directive. (Tip: The first ones that might implement a lot sooner than others is France). Secondly, despite Article 13 being a synonym a Cancer (guess Yasuo has gained some competition), it at least strictly and explicitly forces companies to listen to all disputes, no exceptions. And Riot has already stated (in multiple platforms and indirectly in their terms of service) that they do not mind having streaming/video services applied upon their games (or game, in this case).

Something important to note ... If this was really deriving from Article 13, all of his videos would be taken down ONLY WITHIN EUROPEAN REGIONS, so ... yeah. This situation has hardly anything to do with the new copyright directive.

There is no point in writing in the Support League of Legends. game issues are solved there, but I have no game question, and the likelihood that some of the developers will read this topic on the forum and try to help me much higher.

Regarding the Lawyer. I live in Russia and here is not so simple with the laws and legal support, and the official office of Russian YouTube can do nothing, it employs about 10 people who answer common questions, and any complicated ones are processed only by mail prepared answers, I contacted them.

In the box explaining what you did wrong, they are essentially saying that you are stealing content. If you explained to them how you come across these clips, and that they are put into videos with consent of the clip owners, and they still refuse to talk to you or lift the demonetization of your channel then they are attacking you directly for some reason. At this point it isn't about breaking terms of service; someone doesn't like you.

Alert to all creators, unless you want your channels to be demonetized for ''reused content''. Even of you are in the right and your video is fair use. Remove the claimed videos. YouTube is demonetizing channels on the spot, channels that have a certain amount of claims in a short period. Those videos are not worth your whole channel. If the claims have a timestamp, just remove the content claimed with the editing tools on YT. If the video has been manually claimed, just remove the whole thing. For future videos don't use footage that you know is going to get claimed. Use royalty free music when you want to use music. Just a heads up.

This is not problem. The viewer decides what to watch. For example, the channel " Hi im coconut" takes the brightest moments from streams on Twitch. I could make such content, but there is already too much of it, but there are very few channels that use video from ordinary players. Not all players are professionals\popular streamers, a huge number of players have the rank of Bronze or unranked, but they are such a part of the community League and if they make a beautiful Pentakill (even if accidentally) I will always add their moment in the video so that thousands of other players could see and share joy. Bro, I am in Russia and in my country there is no this law. And YouTube has a function that restricts video for certain regions (believe me, since in Russia it is constant, having a paid VPN is a common thing for a Russian citizen).

The main channel (official channel ) of the League of Legends on YouTube is owned by Riot Games. They have a personal manager from YouTube, they can find out from him the reason for what is happening (the real reason, and not the abstraction that they sent me, you can close any channel and deprive of monetization by referring to the fact that they sent me). Plus, they can point out that all of the Copyright for any material from League of Legends game (video, audio, arts, etc.) belongs to their campaign (Riot Games).

this has been around before article thirteen believe it or not. In fact, this goes back to when they were doing "secondary reviews" that were promised to take a month but ended up being almost a full year. Many content creators have been hit by it and it usually hits content creators that aren't uploading their own work. Youtube has made a statement saying even if you own the rights to upload it, if it's still on another source such as twitch or dailymotion, then it's unmonetizeable. Many compilation channels have been hit due to this, but I find it strange that his channel is the only one being hit, because synapse, fun of legends, etc are doing the same thing, so it doesn't really make much sense, but again, this has been around for a while.
