Why is Yumi Hated so much?

So I started playing again after Yumi was released and in game and on the boards I have heard people talking trash about how yumi is bad, how people who play yumi are bad people, etc. I played against her a few times and it was mildly annoying for her to be untargetable but nothing too insane. I just played m yfirst match of Yumi support:

ADC pre game: I cant deal with yumi (proceeds to lane swap with our zed mid to avoid a yumi) Zed when I am attached healing him: Tells me to fuck off and calls me gay.

Like holy crap what is with the hate for this champion?

Yuumi is widely considered an "afk promoting" champ, and it doesn't help that Riot have just removed the one thing from her kit that actually encourages players to detach, as well as buffing her heal which means the "afk Yuumi" play style is basically the only effective way of using her at this point (for most people).

Because 90% of the shit you have to worry about in-game is nullified, they even made her into a fucking item in TFT for a reason, because she's actually a glorified item in Summoner's Rift too. Staying in the pocket? Positioning properly? Warding in danger? Trade basic attacks? Help win the lane? Outskill the enemy bot lane? Predict the enemy movements with skillshots? Scrap all that.

Because she is strong, people didn't know how to play her at release, people called Riot idiots for releasing weak champion, hotfixed buffed, now people bitch about the flipside, that said, people are always whining on these forums.

Some ADCs don't know how to play with Yuumi, so they're stressing out with the "pressure" of having a 2v1 lane with no support to put pressure on sides of minion waves, while she actually can harrass a lot, which is why she's strong, she has a skillshot she can move around and missing only if you aim poorly, not because enemy actually dodges it, so it's a matter of playing well as her. A lot of ADCs are used to feel safe at all times with a tanky support like Nautilus or Thresh, Leona, Alistar, Braum & co, so they don't know how to react when they're the only targeteable and visible champion in lane.

Her attacks and heals are TOO strong for a champ that is untargetable. Her heals and dmg need to be brought down to keep her in line.
