How are %Ap modifiers calculated

videorfeak··5 votes·2,666 views

When you buy rabadons you get 35% extra AP and when you get dragon buff you get 6% extra AP, are these calculated separately or together meaning

Separate: AP * .35 = x AP+AP= new ap total. New AP total * .06= x AP+New Ap total= Final result

vs

Together: 35%+6%=41%, AP * .41= x AP + AP= Final result

both methods give different results, the first option gives more AP and the second one gives less. Does anyone know how it is calculated?

They stack additively (so Deathcap + one stack of the new Fire dragon buff would give you 35% + 8% for 43% bonus AP).

would it stack additive with the updated blue buff? thats crazy. a veigar with some 1.5k ap would be possible

4 ROA+ Rabadons+Archangels+Dragon+farmed Q= my favorite veigar build Ive played with for a long time. But yeah 1500 AP, even on mages other than veigar you get about 1100 AP

I had 1200 AP with veigar once because I stacked close to 350-400. it was my first veigar game actually. also had like 20 kills and 20 assists.

I hit 1200 AP on Veigar (my main) in the game in which I hit lv. 30. It is still the high moment of my league career!

Yes. % multipliers stack additively so that cases like Blue Buff + Rabadon's + Fire Dragon don't get as nuts as they would multiplicatively.

try it in a custom. i think it's multiplicative. deathcap + dragon = 1.35 * 1.06 = 1.43 or 43% bonus AP

Can there be a game type where it is multiplicatively increased?
