traded in my pixel 2 because I was sick of the fucking adapter bullshit and trying to listen to music and not knowing if these fucking pieces of shit would fail on me during a workout. I had just ordered some off amazon and after twenty minutes of using them they both went out and stopped working.

With the Brave mobile browser you can actually listen to yt videos with the while the screen is turned off. This used to be standard, but many browsers turned it off or youtube messed with the their site's code to keep people from doing this. It's not enabled by default and you need to enable it in the settings tho.

Couldn't you have just got a pair of USB type C headphones or wireless ones?
I got a new phone when my cell carrier told me they were going to shut down the 2G network and my old Nokia 2610 would no longer work. ZTE Maven, $40. Has a headphone jack.
