Riot, Sit Down And Be Humble

At this point, I feel like Riot has become so cocky and prideful that rather than admit they made a mistake and just revert back to the original, they continue to try and "fix" and change their mistakes until the players begrudgingly accept it as the best they will do. There's nothing wrong with accepting a booboo and just changing it back to normal but for the longest time Riot has made no effort to do so. This isn't just about the new runes but even the patch updates and most of their updates in general. More and more, I feel like the patch updates are just random statistics and numbers thrown at us to give the appearance that they're trying to fix something when in reality, they don't even try anymore. I've been playing since Season 5 and this preseason is the least amount of fun I've had in League.

At the time I posted this I was already downloading Smite, a game I haven't played in a year, because I'm just frankly tired of League. While I do not plan on quitting League entirely, I just might if they don't start fixing their mistakes and actually owning up to it.

They pretty much refuse to take accountability.

Riot tends to ignore their own boards, the one place people expect their complaints about League to be heard. Instead, they frequent Reddit more simply because more people will support their terrible choices.

The issue is that it becomes a case where Riot is creating a situation where the players who would otherwise be reasonable are no longer willing to be reasonable because Riot refuses to listen. Eventually, none of the players are willing to be reasonable.

What exactly should they be doing then? I'm pretty sure they have design teams for every aspect of the game. Some things, such as art and new champions, will take longer to create compared to small balance changes that do actually have an effect on the game (even if you don't notice it).

Humility is for the dying.
