The Updates Riot Should Make (Season 9)
Hey Ladies n Gents,
With the new season for League of Legends on its way in, we all have questions regarding some of the changes that would be made to compliment future gameplay. Indeed, the Rioters have posted some new season changes like turrets and such (check out the changes if you haven't done so). However, I reckon that other changes should be made.
After playing a good chunk of the recently ended season, I believe that the first positive change that needs to be made is to heavily NERF certain champions that ruin the competitive scene. Here is my list: Veigar, Irelia, and **Viktor. **
If the previous season told us anything, its that certain champions have a great advantage over most other champions. Most people would agree that these three champions have dominated the scene due to their favorable kit that can by-pass just about any counters. For instance, **Veigar's **ability to gain AP via a ranged attack is simply imbalanced. Even other champs that have similar functions like _Nasus _and Sion have a difficult time stacking since they are limited to melee range. We all know how insane Irelia has been this season. With all the classic "better ban Irelia" memes, Riot members definitely needs to take that to heart this upcoming season. Her kit requires very little skill to dominate just about anyone and any team. Her dashes need to be limited as its almost impossible to disengage her from a fight.
Viktor has also been a power house for very different reasons. I believe he should be nerfed just a bit, not as much as the other two champions. I've never played much Viktor, but the moment I picked him up for one or two games top, I absolutely dominated. The gameplay was a joke. I definitely think his Q needs to be nerfed as it grants him a shield, increased speed movement, Auto resets, and two forms of damage. Also** Akali shroud is a must NERF**. Delete the ability or at least have her be spotted by Pink Wards and Turrets.
With that being said, I also believe that some items need to be NERFed. 1) Guinsoo's Rageblade needs to change or be deleted from the game. That item is pretty much the worst thing that's happened to this game since the conception of Garen was floated around. 2) Tiamat. Increase the price for this item. It costs 150 less then a zeal yet is pretty much 3x better for any champ not named Yasuo. 3) Stopwatch needs to be deleted from the game. 600 gold item shouldn't be able to virtually change team fights as much as it does.
Items that should be buffed: 1) Mikael's Crucible. This item should give either more health or increased speed movement to an ally when activated. 2) Mercury's Treads. AP champions are scaling so hard with current items that even grabbing Merc's for MR is pointless. I believe that MR should be increased on this item to rival what Ninja Tabi's does against AD champs.
