There's some game I read about a while back that tanked, in part because the devs hired their untrained, inexperienced kids, nieces, nephews, etc. to do the voice acting. Wish I could remember the name.
That purple character sounds like a high schooler doing an impression of David Cross as Tobias Funke as Mrs. Featherbottom in an active airplane hangar.
