The old version was the base skin with add ons. It's hideous.
New one is 10/10 better.

I'm really not seeing the "miner" aspect you are saying. A miner would need high viability and cover-alls.
As an explorer I feel he is wearing everything he needs. He has a bandana to use as a dust mask or tourniquet for first aid, a length of rope, a helmet with a torch on it and he even has padding on his knees so he can crawl. What miner would be on their knees?Crawling to mine? You cant swing a pick axe like that.
Are you thinking of a pick axe for mining or a small hand pick for climbing?
His Character model looks so stupid, i cannot believe Rito is doing this, it looks soo bad!
Make his ult into a giant pickaxe head and rename it. Problem solved. :D

I'm comparing the two and I have to say I like the old one better.
The old one looked like he had a lot more places to put any loot that he would find on his adventures His jacket is used to provide warmth because some caves can be cold The brown color is very pleasant to look at
I always thought the mining hat was weird to look at though, and that goes the same for both versions
