LEC pick/ban is really hard to look at and see

The current pick/ban animation is a bar sort of thing on the bottom of the screen with the majority of the screen taken up by the players. It's harder to see and follow this squished version, at least for me.

What was wrong with the old version? Korea is still using the full screen coverage pick/ban, so why did Europe change? Anyone else finding it difficult to follow the picks/bans in the LEC new version?

Riot, can we change it back to the full screen coverage version like what was used at Worlds and almost entirely in the past?

Must be copying Dota2 or something. Last time I checked Dota2's tournament at the end of last year, I was completely baffled by the utter insanity they did whereby they minimised the pick-ban phase into a small corner of the screen and the vast majority of the screen was spent on featuring the player and the desk; like, what in the actual ???? I don't get it. I was pretty sure I came to see how the actual game played out, and not looking at just how pretty and handsome the players and desk members are.

Let's also not mention just how boring the Dota2's desk was despite taking so much screen time at the expense of the actual gameplay. I blamed their ultra comfy couch they were all submerged in at the time which might have explained why they all seemed on the verge of falling asleep, but still...

And I guess Riot also thought Dota2's format there was a good idea because 5 million IQ just like Dota2 devs, or something.

If memory serves this overlay was tried sometime last season under the LCS applied graphics. They had some rather immediate feedback and reverted the change onward.

While yes they could stay to the standard material, it's respectable to give it an effort to stand out. Similar to the LCK's augmented visuals or LPL's chat-to-rank support integration in-game. The little things really.

I was gunna make a post on this as well. Yesterday it took me by suprise but the more I am watching the more I dont really like it. Just tiny little faces at the bottom of the screen.

Harder to read, you CAN see what's happening but it still doesnt feel good to look at.
