To All You Wanting a "Full Rune Refund."

All items depreciate in value. ALL items. There is an excess amount of economic analogies on the boards rn so I won't waste my time on it. But your runes are just like all of those physical items that get old and worn out.

A common argument I found on the boards was that their runes can't lose value because they are virtual items. You know what I say to that? Fine! Keep your runes. Keep your runes and keep your rune pages, but they won't be used in the game. Whether you like it or not the new rune system is what will directly affect the game not your current runes.

Oh? You would like to sell your useless runes now? Great! 100 BE for marks, seals, and glyphs, and 300 for quints please.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that the runes regularly dropped price in the shop for the 8 years they'll have been in the game.

Whole lot of depreciation going on there, right?

The 1721 Lady Blunt Stradivarius Violin that sold for $15.9 million begs to differ. Not all things depreciate.

This is one of the many problems with game developers these days. They treat the game like real life, which is half of the reason to play, which is to escape reality for a while. You are absolutely right, in real life, all items do depreciate, and it blows ass in real life too, just like it blows ass in this video game. But honestly, I stopped caring about what riot does a long time ago, they consistently make bad choices, and this is no different.
