Toplane can't keep up with Botlane.

I saw a post recently about games progressing too quickly and it was accurate as to why botlane was unbalanced, but as a toplane main it just wasn't the same experience as I was having.

Entirety of meta toplaners (with Gangplank as an exception) are good because they dominate the lane early. Illaoi who hasn't seen meta in forever has become a prominent pick in this meta where games end in ~27 minutes. And that makes sense because early game champions should be good early.

The strange part of this is when you look at botlane and it's the complete opposite. Late game hypercarries are the ones that are dominating the game down there. So how can we have one lane that has early game champions as meta and another with late game hyper carries? The short answer is that adcs have access to their power spikes earlier.

Do you think that this kind of contrast with one lane having early and the other having late game carries is healthy?

No it isn't. Crit items are too cheap. Up the prices a bit and buff a lanebully like Lucian, Caitlyn, MF and maybe, just maybe we could see a shift.

"Maybe" because I know nothing about balancing, lol

EDIT: I seen NASUS with KLEPTO being accused of being toplane bully! Is this a thing???? lmao

Top lane isn's supposed to be hard carries though right? Top lane affects the game just fine, they just don't get all the attention...

Why noone bullies lategame carry as they do with toplaners? Why dont toplaners afk farm instead of bullying each othrrs?
