Alternatively, you learn how to play for late game and/or apply pressure to other areas of the map. You don't have to teamfight whenever people start grouping up, kills aren't everything.

Just looking at that game in particular: You guys had one tower yet you were only 40_ish_ CS behind the enemy team as a whole. That tells me nobody was pushing any lanes, they would take a few minions to stop it from crashing, then abandon it entirely. The only person who made any effort to take towers was Garen and even then he couldn't do much.

You should have been telling your team to split or opened up opportunities for them to do so by roaming. You also could have told them to defend or split one side of the map while you split another, you were so fed that you probably could have taken on anyone at that point (or at the very least escaped.)

Ultimately yeah, League is a team game and your teammates need to be on the same wavelength but that game was winnable, it just would have been an uphill battle. Losses also happen, just play to the best of your ability and don't let it get to you.
